Ok here I was in a knockout/bounty tourney. Blinds 300-600 ante 75. I was delt QQ in the BB. A fairly tight player basically min raised in early position. We were down to 17 people, and paid top 9. So him being pretty tight player, do I go all in? No cause if he has a big hand like AK he is calling an allin and your either race or he has one over card and god knows what happens then. Do I call his raise? I could but dont really know where he is at if I do. So figured throw a reraise in there see where im at. If he goes all in, I can still throw my hand away and have aroune 13,000 chips to continue. He just called so I assumed he had overcards. The flop comes king, ugg,WHY? So I figured I am beat and out position. But I felt I had to stab at if he comes over the top then I know and fold, and I still have around 9500 to play on. So I bet 3500 1/3 of the pot. hoping to look like I am betting for value. BUT good player may have recodnise this as weakness and came over the top. But he folded

But you can see here continuation bets can be very useful(excuding calling stations) eventhough one over card came out. And not commiting all your chips can improve you results in getting to the final table.

What he had I dont know but he didnt have AK mabye AQ, but im really leaning toward a meduim pocket pair, I dunno lol.

I'm thinking pocket pair under 10s? Since you mentioned him being fairly tight, we know it had to be decent pair or AQ like you said. Heck, if he was really super tight, he'd have pitched 10s in the muck with a flop like that. Good hand analysis you did.
