has anyone ever thought of playing poker full time. i myself didnt want a proper job, so i started playing poker 24/7 and thoroughly enjoyed it. what do you guys think about that

If it's your life's passion to play poker 24/7 go for it. I would get bored quickly!

Interesting. Do you make a living at that? My luck, I would lose more than I won and end up living in a box. lol But, if that works for you, I say GREAT!!!

I am not nearly good enough to be playing full time. For me it's just something I like to do. Kind of like a hobby, with gambling!

Why not? I have a cousin that plays Guitar Hero tournaments, and makes some money at it. I say go for it!

Personally, I don't have the huevo's to tell the wifey that I'm going to support us playing poker full time. Besides... she likes to eat regularly.

But I do manage to make a living from poker by hosting tournaments at bars and taverns. All I have to do is pass out chips, color up at breaks and record the results... and I get to play too.

What could be better.... a guaranteed payout no matter how I finish.

I have thought about doing poker full time, but just cant find myself doing it. Even though i think im good enough to make money at it, and i do, you cant control luck. So over time i would be successful but i cant take the swings so that is the main reason i wont do it. Like donald said, i like to eat regularly and i dont have the bank roll to basically invest everything into a game of mostly luck.

I play full time at the moment. I really enjoy it. Some days are good some days are bad but i still make money of the RB deal i have so it's all good
