Default RakeTheRake

Ok so there are 2 different sites that give you a portion of your rake back.

There is RakeTheRake.com

There is Rakeback.com

I know RTR is legit, I am pretty sure rakeback is aswell.

Now I am not promoting the site, I am just giving some info on a site that I use, that gives me my rake back every month.

I would recommend RTR, I mean why wouldn't you want to get a portion of your rake back. Depending on what site you play on they just directly deposit into the poker account. But to help me out, lol. If you do sign up they will give my like 2% higher on my rake back. here is my referal number: RTR28671

Here is this the amount I got for the month of may. $20.03

RTR Member Code RTR28671
Total Rakeback This Month $20.03
Total Referral Fees This Month $0.00
Balance From Previous Months $0.00
Total: $20.03
Poker Room % Account Rake Rakeback Hands/Points Last Update Paid Date Paid Payment Method
Full Tilt 27 XDatsPokerX $74.20 $20.03 615 31-May-2008 00:00:00 10-Jun-2008 Direct to Full Tilt
TOTALS $74.20 $20.03

This is for the month of June. $50.33

RTR Member Code RTR28671
Total Rakeback This Month $50.33
Total Referral Fees This Month $0.00
Balance From Previous Months $0.00
Total: $50.33
Poker Room % Account Rake Rakeback Hands/Points Last Update Paid Date Paid Payment Method
Full Tilt 27 XDatsPokerX $186.41 $50.33 1885 27-Jun-2008 19:02:19
TOTALS $186.41 $50.33

So you I see I had a total of 186.41 in rake and I get back 50.03. So you can see how much the site takes from you. This could really determine wheather you area winning player, cause if you play solid and stay even you still make money on the rake. If anyone has questions feel free.

Thanks
HDYCT

That's great to know that you got your money back. I was reading Rakeback.com | Helping Poker Players Save Money Since 2004 the other day, and found that it's a pretty good site for people who want to talk about the various problems with the online sites.

How exactly do these rakeback sites make any money?

edit:

Hah, that rakeback site loads it's own address with all the 'helping players save money stuff'.

I'm not exactly sure how they make there money but they do. I think they make $ by how many people sign up through RTR. But its totally worth it if you play alot. Pokerstars is now using RTR. But the % is by a different method. Like fulltilt is %27. Well pokerstars is gonna be a sliding scale, based on certain level you can obtain by how much you play.

Thanks

Also this is a requirment for me to stay a full member, it may be different with other pokerrooms.
You must make sure that your balance at Full Tilt reaches at least $25 within 60 days of opening your FT account in order to stay tagged to RTR .

Which wasnt a issue for me it didnt take me that long to achieve that. Just some more info on it. Dont want to hide any info.

Thanks

cool thank you. I'm not one to promote stuff. But I figure if i know its legit, free, and makes me money while I play. Might aswell share the wealth. We pay the poker sites well enough as it is.

Thanks

Sounds a little like those triangle scams going on all over the place. Instead of playing poker your busy recruiting people.
