Default HardRock Seminole (Tampa, FL)

Played until wee hours of the morning at HardRock Casino in Tampa FL last night.....ugh. I don't drink when I play, so I think my 'hangover' is from the sugar and caffeine from the sodas. But, dang, it was a boring night. At least I hung in there for a while. My husband killed on the slot machines, though!

It was only my second time "pokering" there (as I call it). I was lucky enough to get in early, before the waiting list grew - which can be up to five hundred at times. My only complaint is the tiny tiny little tv monitors. I can't see them unless I get up and walk right up under them.

Have any of you ever played there?

I played there a couple of years ago, and I enjoyed what little time I spent there. I played limit poker, the slots, and the video poker tables where you are seated with your opponents yet you play with virtual cards. I enjoyed the idea of the video poker tables and it was interesting to see people try and play with no material items (chips, pot, cards) on the table. When I went on a friday night, it wasn't too packed but had a nice crowd. I truly enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to anyone who wanted a night out at a fun casino. There are also tons of perks to be had if you go to the VIP section right at the entrance.

It's quite an impressive casino/hotel/resort now. In the last year they have added a huge resort area, a poker room the size of half a football field, and there are a million slots. Restaurants galore, dance clubs, etc. It's just amazing how it went from a bingo parlor about 10 years ago to this Hard Rock paradise. It's quite fascinating and feels just like Vegas.

Sounds fun. I love casinos with so much to look at and lots of things to do. If I am ever in that neck of the woods I will have to check it out.

Thanks
