Does anyone else feel like Phil Ivy always looks like he's one bad hand away from crying? Maybe it was just the tournament I was watching, but that's the impression I got from him.

Also I like any of the players that play funny side games, like Indian poker, and high card. I think they do RPS now too. You gotta admire someone who will gamble on anything.

I like some of the celebrity players you get in these days, Johnny vegas is absolutely hilarious when he plays because he just gets absolutely drunk but this wasn't in a wsop event or anything just celebrity poker club.

I like when celebrities and poker pro's play together, i think mixing the two makes for a more interesting poker game as the celebrities will do things the pro's won't expect

Yeah watching celebritys is funny cause the make some wierd plays. There are some that have taken there play to the next level. Like Tobey Maguire, Ben Afleck, Jennifer Tilly. But its cool when celebritys get involved in poker cause then it makes the stigma on poker a little bit better.

Thanks

Default Favorite players

You know I hear most of you guys talking about mostly the same people the ones that are in the spotlight all the time. There were a couple of ideas I really liked like Chip Reese (RIP) we lost a hell of a poker player and I heard Greg Raymer which is another great player not in the spot light. What about the ladies like Kathy Liebert one of my favorites will put her up against any man or Annie Duke another great woman player and you can never forget the Prince of poker Scotty Nguyen or Doyle I mean were do you stop I love them all and if you can't handle the Mouth or the Poker Brat you are probably in the wrong game See you at the tables

my favorite player is Dan Harrington. This guy has a great game, and with his books has knowledge that everyone should read, just to help you understand the game better.

yeah Harrington does have sick tourney play. I have his book on the later stages of the tourney. He is a one of my favorite tourney players. What is your favorite cash game player? I would say after watching high stakes poker on utube, Sammy Farha is so good, he just has pretty good instinct, and knows how to take advantage of a situation.

Thanks

I am a fan of watching the celebs play poker and get burned. My favorite player though, would have to be ivey or moneymaker. They are two quality players who bring a little bit of quiet class to the game rather than people like 'the mouth' dragging the game down with their antics. Yes, that is just the way that some people approach the game and try and get into others' heads, but it is extremely annoying to watch as I'm sure it's annoying to play against.

I would have to say that Chris "Jesus" Ferguson is my favorite- but my husband loves Mike the Mouth- must be a man thing!

I've always been a Phil Ivey fan. I tend to like the quiet ones. I also like Lindgren. He's a stealth player and I was disappointed to see him give it all away the other night. ugh. I thought he had that one won.

My husband likes "Jesus" Ferguson, who I don't mind. I'm impressed with him.

Are there any up-and-comers anyone is excited about??
