Just curious if anyone travels to gamble (sorry-that was the nicest way I could put it)- and if so, what are your favorite gambling cities to visit outside of Las Vegas?

Biloxi has grown into a great gambling city. I enjoy my visits there. It's a quick flight from Tampa, so we go every now and again.

I don't like Atlantic City. It is still such a dirty, depressing city. Maybe I have just seen too many depressing movies that take place there.

Vegas is still number one for me.

Well I live in the poker capitol in the world. Good old Los Angeles. We got Hollywood Park Casino which is in inglewood which is pretty seedy. We have the bicyle Casino, Commerce Casino which is cool, Hustler casino is my fav as far as atmosphere. The cocktail waitresses afre decent to look at. Then there is Hawaiian Gardens which I have not been to yet.

never been to Vegas but I've been to Atlantic City, the players there weren't so good, but as stated before it's a depressing place for some reason.

I live close enough to go to Atlantic City so we do plan to go there of course and my husband and I really want to go to Vegas. Apart from the casinos it just looks like a great city.

I've only been to the casinos in Detroit. They are nice. But I'm going to check out vegas in October

Shereveport, LA. It's probably because I'm from Dallas.

I think the best casino "city" would be Foxwoods in Connecticut. It's a perfect mix of city hustle and bustle and a rural setting.
