Theres a rising number of celebs that are joining in the poker tournaments, every year it seems to me like poker is getting more and more glamorous and accepted.

Yes and Yes. Poker is still very popular, but as far as the NL wave of 2-3 years ago. I think it kind of leveled off, but some people lose and dont play anymore cause it was just a phase for them, some like me just fell in love with it and ill play for the rest of my life. Also I think people are starting to go back to limit or mabye trying omaha or stud. those might be the next big wave for poker. Its only accepted if you win lol.

Yeah, it's good to see so many celebrities participating, and I like the more glamorous image poker seems to be getting as a result.

I know that besides being one of the funniest people out there, David Cross won a few seasons of the Celebrity Poker Showdown on Bravo. Does anyone know if he plays in real tournaments?

He played Tobias Funke on Arrested Development, and the evil record producer on alvin and the chipmunks. He also had a show on HBO called Mr. Show, although I've never met anyone who actually saw it when it was on.

It doesn't say anything about Poker, but it does say that he's dating a woman 19 years younger than him, so that's pretty cool.

I know the charchter but not the names. the Jason Alexander, the big brother on everybody loves raymond. Gary Kaplan. Thats all I can really think of off the top of my head.

James woods was playing a few days ago at foxwoods. he was doing quite well and really talking to everyone at the table. Seems to be a pretty down to earth kind of guy.
